The second day of the international robotics competition ROBO-VEHICLE PILSEN 2025 was filled with competitive races of robotic vehicles from the Czech Republic, Germany, Croatia, Turkey, and even China!
At the Techmania Science Center, a total of 32 robotic vehicles showcased their capabilities on two competition tracks. Many of the vehicles fought for the top spots with differences measured in seconds, while some teams struggled just to get their vehicles moving. Competitors from the People’s Republic of China participated through an online broadcast.
After lunch, prepared for the competition participants and other guests by teachers and students from the Vocational Secondary School and Primary School in Planá, a tour of the Pilsen planetarium was arranged. Here, participants could also watch a 3D film in English.
In the evening, the competitors and other guests enjoyed a pleasant time at Bowling Lucerna, where they not only played together but also chatted and made new friendships.
The next competition day is dedicated to presenting the technical aspects of their robotic vehicles. The evening was thus spent finalizing necessary presentations and speeches and preparing for Wednesday’s performance.

Before the start of each team’s competition, a measured amount of water – 70 ml – will be poured into the cup. If the water cup is knocked over, the vehicle must be placed at the start again and the cup must be refilled with the prescribed amount of water.
